How do I enable a password on a room?

Velofloor calls this a passkey: a 4-digit PIN required to enter a room. Only an admin can set it.

1. Open the Admin Dashboard and go to the Rooms tab.
2. Create or edit a room and enable passkey.
3. Enter a 4-digit PIN. It must be exactly four digits.
4. Save the room.

Rooms with a passkey show a badge on the floor map. When a member clicks in, they are prompted for the PIN before joining.

Security notes:

• The PIN is hashed before storage and never returned by the server. Nobody, including admins, can read an existing PIN back — you can only replace it with a new one.
• Admins bypass passkeys, enforced server-side.
• Passkey-protected rooms are excluded from the Switch Room transfer list.
• Passkeys are independent of room locking; the two can be used separately or together.
